Depth & Current is four guys making music because it's fun to make music. The live music business is in a peculiar state right now. It's very difficult for an unknown band to gain any traction from hustling around the country playing to empty rooms. Our intention is to focus on creating music. We'll (one way or another) be releasing music fairly frequently. We'll continue to try to bring a musically and visually engaging live show to our local community, with plans to branch out regionally when opportunities arise.
If and when (fingers crossed) the pendulum of the live music market swings back to a place where people are excited to discover new music and take a chance on bands that they haven't heard, then there will be more opportunities for a band like ours to climb up on a stage and earn your respect. Until then, please enjoy our studio output. We've got some very exciting projects in the works. And, if you get an opportunity, check out one of our local and/or regional shows. If you're not from the area, I would suggest that a road trip to Norman could result in a very good time. We love our city. And, if you come all the way from out of town to see us, we'll make sure you love it, too. So, watch our shows list and come see us!

Hey, I purchased a copy of "Arms" from Guestroom and I'd like to say that it is a very nice album. I have some critical thoughts on what you guys are doing, but for the most part, it's good, and I love that Interpol/R.E.M. kind of jangly, darker than it should be sound you have.
So get famous so this thing I bought will be worth big cash in the future.
