It could have been a good idea, but it was executed by a drunk and stoned jackass whose only saving grace is he figured out how to use the quanitize function.
Heavily influenced by the keggorator in the backyard of Nash's house, "Derek & the Deathmoves" is the working title for the first solo project from keyboardest/vocalist Buck Thompson of the band "Patio Furniture." With a sound that is borderline schizophrenic, Derek & the Death combines honkey tonk piano with a gratuitous amount of sax and violins that serves to both break up the monotony of the album, and generally insult the intelligence of the listener.
