This is a kick ass contest where the audience votes and prizes in the later rounds consist of $1000 and a chance to be in the Boston Comedy Festival. So if you can make it PLEASE let me know a.s.a.p! Thanks a lot, and here's the info...

WHEN: July 30th (8pm)

WHERE: Ice House in Pasadena

WHAT: 10 Comedians compete and the audience votes for the winners. 1st place gets $100 and to move on to the second round. 2nd place gets a $50 gift card and to move on to the second round. 3rd place gets a giant bucket of fries...and even though these fries are mighty tasty, you could see how the 1st place prize could mean numerous buckets of fries in the end (depending on how you choose to spend your $100).


COST: Tickets are $8 WITH reservation and $10 at the door (PLUS a two drink min). For reservations call 818-754-2663.

CANCER BENEFIT COMEDY SHOW AT CANOGA PARK HIGH SCHOOL!

WHEN: Friday, June 6 at 7pm (til 8pm)

WHERE: Canoga Park High School (Corner of Topanga and Vanowen...next to Topanga Mall)

WHAT: I'm performing 45min-1hour of ALL NEW material and ALL MONEY MADE GOES TO THE American Cancer Society. This show is really important to me and I really hope all of you can make it. I'm dedicating this show to my mom (who has been fighting cancer for 4 years), to coach Lugo (canogas football coach), and to everyone else who has to live with cancer and just wants an hour to forget about it and laugh the night away! (he he he...that was an example of what might happen at this show...DO YOU SEE THE INCREDIBLE POSSIBILITIES!) Its gonna be a kick ass time for a kick ass cause!

COST: ONLY 3 DOLLARS (OR any larger donation you'd like to make at the door)

WHEN: April 20th (Sunday) at 7:30 pm

WHAT: 9 comedians perform for 10 minutes each. (Not a contest...just a booked show)

COST: $7.50 (plus a 2 drink min....no more than 16 dollars unless you're an alcoholic). Each comedian got a stack of tickets to try and sell...so this time you MUST let me know if you're going. Just tell me if you can make it and how many are in your group...I'll give you the tickets with my name on it...and then you hand the ticket AND the money to the person at the door of the Ice House. Make sure to also make reservations because it will most likely SELL OUT! Let me know if you need the phone number.

Samuel J Comroe Performs Stand-up COMEDY...

I'm going all out this year everyone! Starting Jan. 30th I'll be at a comedy club at least 5 times a week working my material and trying to make it. I'm NOT going to school this coming semester because I truly feel that I'm going to become a regular at a comedy club before summer '08 ends (I know a lot of people disagree with me taking school off for a bit, but its just something i have to do...or as a corny guy would say "i must follow my heart"). This contest that begins on Jan. 30th is a huge opportunity, but I really need all of you to make it the whole way through. If you can make it, you must let me know a.s.a.p...thank you so much...

Here's all the info you need to know...(its pretty accurate)

WHERE: Ice House Comedy Club (icehousecomedy. com for directions) In Pasadena

WHEN: January 30th at 8:00 pm (be there early for seating)

WHO: Ten Comedians Compete (including ME!)...1st place = 100 dollars and going to the 2nd round (bigger prizes, bigger opportunities) and 2nd place gets a 50 dollar gift card and to move on to the 2nd round.


COST: 8-10 dollars plus a 2 drink min. (no more than 20 dollars...like a trip to the movies but better because I'll be there, and Paul Walker won't)

AUDIENCE: YOU VOTE FOR YOUR 3 FAVORITE COMEDIANS OUT OF ALL TEN! THIS MEANS IF I DON'T DESERVE TO WIN, BUT I HAVE 100 PEOPLE THERE I STILL WILL! HOW AMAZING IS THAT...WOOHOO! SO PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE COME!
