Derek JG Williams is a Boston based writer and performer. He has featured at venues thoughout New England and New York, and is a regular at the world famous Cantab Lounge. In the spring of 2009 he released a full length CD of poetry and music titled “A Chorus of Cities.” His work bridges the gap between academia and performance. It is intense and heroic, where dark and barren urban images alternate with epic and pastoral metaphor. He is currently at work on a full length book of poems.
