Hanging out with friends, playing darts, poker, scheming up ways to make money, picking on people, collecting guitars, watching a little TV, making awkward situations more awkward, playing around on the internet, reading, hanging out downtown, drinking an occasional beer, watching comedies, eating, or making jokes about people (that possibly don't deserve to be made fun of).

I grew up just south of Sikeston, MO and graduated high school at New Madrid County Central in 1999. From there I spent the next five years at Southeast Missouri State University where I double majored in Business Management (Organizational Leadership) and Industrial/Organizational Psychology.
While in college I spent most my time away from school either bartending and managing at Willy Jak's/Nick's or playing lead guitar in my former band, Closure. After college I went to work for Pepsi MidAmerica for nearly two years as a territorial sales rep for the area of Cape Girardeau.
In December of 2005, I joined a new band called Promise to Burn, Immediately after joining we went into preproduction with producer, Malcolm Springer, on our first EP called And Everything After which was finished up in May of 2006.
In the next few months as we prepared for our first few live performances, I found out that my full-time career with Pepsi and my potential music career did not coexist so well, so I left Pepsi in July of 2006.
Since then my focus has been promoting my band Promise to Burn. In 2007 we had the opportunity to play some shows in Los Angeles where we headlined a show at the Viper Room on Sunset Blvd and played a label showcase at the Key Club. Both shows were successful for us, and we had a good turnout of major labels at our showcase. The reactions to our band by the industry insiders were very positive. To follow the progress of the band, just visit the Promise to Burn myspace here where you can hear/download our music and keep track of upcoming shows.
In addition to that, I am going back to school in the fall at SIU in Carbondale to finish my masters in Counseling Psychology.

Hey There! Thanks for asking me to be your friend! I saw you at Shamrock's the other night...didn't get a chance to say hi...Back in Nashville now...I'm suppose to be playing there a couple days a month...starting soon ;) Thanks Again!
sup man, any shows in the near future? keep me updated, had my work schedule changed, I work every sat and sun for 12 hours, off the rest of the week, generally.
Oh c'mon, you're always reading poetry you emo douche hanky ... you're a prose bitch... now go listen to hurt and ponder the significance of blood dripping into bath water ....
heh ... umm ... wow, I've got something horrible repressed somewhere inside me .... I think I'll write about this in my black leather bound journal, the one with a razor blade taped to the front ... ya know, just in case ...
Well actually, I had my glasses off and for some reason wanted to change the status, and couldn't see for shit, so just picked something at random ... so there ya go... as it happens I was thirsty ... so .... wahoo
Dude! Remember a little town called Nashville? I mean, it's not as little as your little town but in comparison to larger towns it's still seems quite little...Well anyway...The ER here called and said they're really looking forward to your next emergency. Bring on the 811. (911's a little too risky) ;op Seriously, grab Amanda and come party!!!
Hey man, whats up, been a while... thought drop in and say hey ... what've you been up to? Chasing fat girls up trees I presume... .... I know its mean ... but its just funnier when they're fat...
I don't know what's more disturbing...that we've actually found some common ground in being unemployed or how comfortable we both seem to be with that status...
Funny you should say that...I've been thinking about looking into applying for food stamps & HUD housing. I would ask when would be a good time for you to go, but when you're unemployed, it's always a good time!
Honey, if you just got out of your house and picked up one piece of trash you'd be more productive. It's really not that hard. So far I've managed to stay out of prison (knock on wood!) and my chances for keeping it that way are better now that I'm not a teacher anymore. At least for the time being! Yep, I'm basically unemployed.
I went as long as I could without bothering you, but I just couldn't stand it anymore!!! Whatcha been up to stranger? Are you still trying to be a rock star?
