C.S.Lewis, N.T. Wright, Dietrich Bonhoeffer, Soren Kierkegaard, Dallas Willard, Dostoevsky, Jurgen Moltmann and many more. The Bible cause its pretty much a an international besteller. (With some favorites being John, Romans, 1 Corinthians, Amos, Isaiah, Zechariah, Ephesians, and Genesis)(Anything with King Arthur or Merlin, yes I am a nerd) I read too much to put down everything I like...
Heroes
Ron Burgundy. Yeah, I was gripped by his life story in the documentary Anchorman. I mean, he looks so darn good. Oh yeah, Jesus for the whole "saviour of the world" thing. That's pretty cool.
About me: I just graduated with my B.A. in Philosophy from UCI and I'm in the process of applying to grad schools. I substitute teach for the PYLU School District which is pretty fun...and crazy. I go to Rock Harbor Church. It frickin rocks. I have a beautiful girlfriend, McKenna. She pretty much is the best.
Umm, Jesus is pretty much my main deal. I live to serve him, (most of the time.) I want to be a pastor. I'm obsessed with studying theology and philosophy. Also, I think my blood is probably 25% coffee.
Yeah, that's about it.
Who I'd like to meet: Cool People? I dunno... Anyone who's interested in meeting me. I like pretty much everybody I meet. There's something worth knowing about everybody, so I like meeting lot's of different people. Just know, God is pretty much the bottom line for me. If you can handle that then we'll do great. If not, I love you anyway.
These people are pretty great. You should meet them.
Make sure you catch up with Part 1 - 3 before Monday, November 17th!
At 7PM on November 17th, the final part (Part 4) of More Than Fairytales will be viewable to the public.
Thanks to everyone who helped make it and all those fun stories we have while making it.
Be sure to send it to people! YouTube pays if there is enough positive comments, reviews, and subscribers and I'm hoping to produce A LOT of new things in 2009 but I'm struggling to raise money. It's free to comment and subscribe!! ;]
Sorry guys! I guess YouTube can't handle all the uploads I've been attempting today for More Than Fairytales. The movie had to be split up into 4 parts and only the 1st and 3rd part would upload. Because I don't want to give away anything, I already deleted part 3.
I will be uploading one part a day. I KNOW I KNOW! I've made everyone wait long enough. But hey! You've waited 7 months already..just a few more days can't hurt! Right...??
Be sure to comment, rate, subscribe to the Flatline Films channel. If I get enough positive comments and ratings and subscriptions, I get paid! And I could really use the money to get started on my two other projects. I've got a feature length horror film that is going to take $1 million to get made. And I'm also working on a YouTube comedy series that will show once a week.
If you missed part 1 of More Than Fairytales, you can view it here!
God has blessed me because I get to have the most mature, thoughtful, loving, warm, gracious, strong, honorable, and caring 22-year-old in the world for my boyfriend.
It may have been your birthday, but I get the best present:)
k so my dad got his car broken into, and the guy stole my dads bag including his police badge and gun and addresses and info on everyone in the family, etc.
well, the idiot called my dad after stealing everything. and the ONLY reason he called back, was cause my dad was reading Mere Christianity that he borrowed from me and the robber said he felt bad cause my dad seemed like such a good Christian.
so my dad got his bag back, unfortunately, the guys pissed now cause he got arrested and his wife just bailed him out and he knows my address, but still! you're book helped! haha
Heyyyyy....All is well. Mike and I are engaged if you didn't already know and we have 2 babies....dogs we have 2 dogs we call our babies LOL. How have you been? Oh and I found you on Whits page I believe :)
i think the key to this debate is to avoid the absolutism of God either knows everything or God knows nothing. i think that's just a false dichotomy and an unstable premise to start this dialog.
I would like to hear your thoughts on molinism. i'm still unsure what i think about a "free" agent operating in a context where the external circumstances that influence the choice as well as the consequences are controlled.
