    Il progetto Derivando nasce dall' incontro di Stefano Celti, bassista negli anni '80 in gruppi ispirati alla musica pop inglese e Andrea Soldani, tastierista di formazione classica (diploma in organo)che si sperimenta nella fusione dei linguaggi musicali. Del 1997 la prima pubblicazione "Landing on the new age " album di atmosfere e ampio respiro composto da Derivando e prodotto da Garbo. Con lo stesso Garbo danno inizio a una stretta collaborazione che li vedra' presenti in alcuni dei suoi successivi lavori in veste di musicisti- autori-produttori. • Up the line ( 1997 ) • Grandi giorni ( 1998 ) • Blu ( 2002 ) • Giallo elettrico ( 2005 ) • Come il vetro ( 2008 ) Pubblicano due remake di brani storici: "Computer love" dei Kraftwerk, pubblicato all'interno della raccolta "2000 e oltre ". (ed. ishtar 1999) e " Tainted love " di Gloria Jones e hit di Soft Cell nel 1981, pubblicata da Virgin Music. (2002) Partecipano nel 2006 con una propria rivisitazione all'uscita del secondo singolo di DeltaV (album Pioggia Rosso Acciaio) di "Ritornerai". Il successivo lavoro e' "Looking for a star" composto da Derivando, prodotto da Derivando e Garbo. All'attivo alcuni live (durante l'esibizione vengono utilizzate immagini e sequenze video montate da Derivando) e partecipazioni ai concerti di Garbo in qualita' di gruppo spalla e performers. Successivamente all'uscita dal progetto da parte di Stefano, Derivando collabora con alcuni tra i più interessanti gruppi emergenti (Deasonika, Nina Ricci, Macno, Nicodemo) seguitando il sodalizio con Ovophonic (Mendrisio) e cominciando a produrre con Elettra nuovi brani. Sempre con Elettra viene selezionato per il "Meitech 2009". Compone e produce tra il 2010 e il 2011 per l'etichetta Ottonote music (www.ottonote.com) il progetto "Vortex". Attualmente al lavoro per la produzione di nuovi brani, si iscrive e frequenta i corsi universitari in "Scienze della Comunicazione". *************** Derivando's project started in 1995 since the meeting between Stefano Celti, a bassist during the '80 with bands inspired to english pop music of those years and Andrea Soldani, keyboardist (organ diploma) interested to the fusion of the musical languages. The first album "Landing on the New Age" was released in 1997: atmospheres and wide compositions by Derivando and produced by Garbo. Working with Garbo was the beginning of a strong collaboration in some of his records as musicians, authors and producers. • Up the Line (1997) • Grandi Giorni (1998) • Blu (2002) • Giallo Elettrico (2005) • Come il vetro ( 2008 ) Derivando also published two remakes of historical songs: • "Computer Love" (Kraftwerk) included in the compilation "2000 e Oltre" (Isthar Ed. 1999) • "Tainted Love" (Gloria Jones) and Soft Cell's hit in 1981 published by Virgin Music (2002) The most recent Derivando's work "Looking for a star" composed by Derivando and produced by Derivando and Garbo. Derivando played live, during the exhibitions using images and video-sequences mixed by them and participated in Garbo's concerts as supporter and performers. After leaving the project by Stefano Derivando collaborates with some of the most interesting groups (Deasonica, Nina Ricci, Macno, Nicodemo), continuing its collaboration with Ovophonic (Mendrisio) and beginning to produce new songs with Elettra. Derivando is selected with Elettra for the "Meitech 2009". Between 2010 and 2011 Derivando composes and produces for the Ottonote music label (www.ottonote.com) the "Vortex" project. Currently working on the production of new songs, Derivando enrolls and attends university courses in "Communications, Media and Advertising".
