Firstly i went to see the Doves lastnight, it was like your mates have come back from going away travelling for ten years, so good to see them, and can't wait til they have new stuff out. Secondly, how amazing is it that Elbow have won the Mercury music prize, i can't say how happy i am for them. They really are the loveliest men in the music business and The Seldom Seen Kid is a cracking album. Take it from me, it couldn't happen to a nicer band.
In any other business, i am currently half way through the graphic novel, Watchmen, which i am re-reading and can't wait for the film. I have also just got back from judges houses for the X factor and on the way back I saw the new Ben Affleck film, Gone Baby Gone - brilliant!
I am off to my mate Lauren's kids Christening tonight and then off to spend the weekend with mama and papa O'Leary.
