The Original "P"Funk features 2 of the remaining 4 original founding members of Parliament/Funkadelic and Rock and Roll inductees Clarence "Fuzzy" Haskins and "Shady" Grady Thomas.
The group was formed in 1998 with original Parliament members:
Fuzzy Haskins, Grady Thomas, Ray Davis and Calvin Simon.
Calvin Simon had to depart from the group for personal reasons, and with the passing of member Ray Davis, the original members are down to 2 members and are just as funky as ever. The group also features 2 of the original members sons. Gene Thomas on guitar (son of Grady Thomas), and Derrick Davis (son of the late Ray Davis).
