I am a Baltimore-based keyboardist and organist currently playing with Son Volt. I also work on occasion with Jason Isbell (former singer / guitarist for The Drive-By Truckers) and his band, The 400 Unit. I’ve also had the privilege of playing with many talented musicians including Shannon Mcnally and The Drive-By Truckers.
I used to live in Washington DC where I was a founding member of a few bands, most notably Helen & Pete’s Youngstown Smokers, Canyon, and Revival. Both The Smokers and Canyon are defunct now, but Revival’s going strong. Check’em out at www.myspace.com/revivalx.
Just stopping by to say a huge "thank you" for a kick-ass awesome performance last evening in the State Room in Salt Lake City. It was amazing the energy expertly delivered and how tight your talented band played for at least two hours! All this after a grueling 9-hour road trip from Denver! I also appreciate your strong will power in that we all (fans and band) have to go outside to smoke cigarettes (I, as well as you probably, welcomed the short intermission!) . . . . I'm glad Utah is loosening up their death grip on serving alcohol also! Rock on and see you at the next show! KimR
