essentials : male, Lost in North Carolina, way below-average looking.
[ i don't think you want to know ]
• Born April 1979, which means, despite being only 28, I've lived in 3 decades already. Bizarre.
• 6 foot 2-ish, I might look fit, but I'm not really. I have man boobs.
• I live in 'gods dickhole' aka Wilmington, NC, for reasons unknown...
• There is no such thing as love... no one can be happy being with just one person anymore...
• I've been working as a new media designer for just about 13 years and photographing for about 10 years. When I started I knew little more than Photoshop, and that I wanted to create things, truthful things.
• I'm living proof that high school is no more than an opportunity to grow up and learn to drive. I really don't know what I want to do right now, I want to create, I want to appeal to an emotion, I want to fall in love, I want a beautiful family. I'm just fighting through the banality of it all.
Random Tidbits :
Bday Fact: I was conceived 7 1/2 months < April 30, 1979 (hint= I was premature)
Edumacation: Associates in Photographic Technologies (attempting to get a BA in fine arts possibly)
Loves: Knowing I'm loved.
Hates: Knowing that the one you love, doesn't love you back.
Something that someone has said to me recently that meant a lot and who said it? "...keep it up Shane, you take great bumps, I'm impressed. One day your going to make it to the big time....." (Larry Zbyszko after my ladder match on March 17th in Williamston, NC)
One thing you want to do before you die?
I want to be able to say that I spent my life with someone who loves me for who I am and someone that I don't have to change for.
Turn Ons:
An uncanny sense of humor. Shorts below the knees. A girl that's proud enough of her body that she can cover it up. One piece bathing suits. Monogamy.
My perfect other:
A girl who has faith in my bleeding heart, who can understand that no matter where I go in this world, that she is the only one... Someone who understands my life, and myself, and what I strive to do. They must love me unconditionally, and they have to trust me. And like me, they must see the world through restless eyes.
character insight:
I'm a chronic worrier and also suffer from jelousitis, (inflammation of the left side of the cerebrum as well as a swelling of the pride, resulting in emotional breakdown and an insomniac type state which is more trouble than it's worth, and usually hits without warning), maybe I'm a bit odd.

1. Intellectual - I'm not saying I'm intelligent by that, I'm not. I'm saying I think a lot. I have theories on life, people, attitudes, behavior. I like to know how things work, how people work, how life works. I probably should have studied psychology. I have a deep mind, I think about things I never talk about. I think about things I never remember afterwards. I can remember having mental conversations with myself, mulling things over. Just stupid things. Trying to work unimportant things out. I couldn't give you an example, because they go from my mind, leaving no memory of the specific content. The sheer fact that I am talking about this should hopefully demonstrate what I mean when I say I think a lot, and how I like to understand how we work, people, the human race, as a society, on a personal thought level.
2. Starving - It has become my job and self design to be proactive, (although this should be every human's responsibility), and to help people SEE more. Not only in the creation / recording of the world seen through my eyes, but of the circulation of these ideas / images. I always have a view and a higher agenda to my images than just plain aesthetic, that can't be helped, but no one will know that, and therefore, understand more about themselves; the world (and me), unless they are given the chance to see. The work I create has this aim. It is only fair that people are given the chance to see what I understand and what I create to try and explain this. I must make it possible for people to see my work - that is what this is all about. This is me.
3. Creative - Not just because of what I do, the visual art side, I just enjoy the process of producing something, anything. I'm rarely happy with what I do myself, but I thrive on the feedback I get from other people. I think that's the drive behind my creativity. When people are genuinely impressed by things I create.
personal insight :
Simple statements identifying my character on a literal level, or something.
[ small things that make me 'me' ]
• I squint my eyes every single time I put my hat on.
• 'Patch Adams' made me cry.
• I play guitar.
• I have never, and will never, hit a woman.
• I own every episode of family guy.
• I want to be able to say that I spent my life with someone who loves me for who I am.
• If I could go without one thing for the rest of my life it would be emotional severance.
• I never met my moms father, he died when he was about my age.
• I want to open an art gallery
• I'm Italian.
• I love Italian food.
• I love cooking Italian food.
• I'm dull, except when I'm not.
• I keep it all in.
• One or more of the above may or may not be a lie.

no problem! we're excited too. we're going to try to pack some random knick-knacks this week just so they'll be out of the way. i might be getting a job interview in colorado soon so i'm keeping my fingers crossed for that too! btw, do you know if you guys plan to come by friday or saturday?
