Christian Death - 45 Grave - T.S.O.L. - The Misfits - Samhain - Danzig - The Damned - The Cramps - Rudimentary Peni - Jack Off Jill - Bauhaus... life, death, and the world around us.
DeSade was founded August 1st of 1998. The name came about through the idea that, while we may or may not agree with the things he wrote, we believed in the freedom of expression that de Sade fought to attain, even from his cell. It also reflects the idea that there is a little "Marquis de Sade" inside us all. After several months of writing, re-staffing and writing some more, DeSade played their first show on April 3rd, 1999. Their second show, April 19th, 1999, was recorded from the soundboard and soon became the “Live EP”. In January of 2000 DeSade recorded “Perverse Prayers” which featured the cult hit “Black Widow”. The EP was successful enough to land DeSade opening spots for the likes of Disturbed, The Electric Hellfire Club, The Genitorturers, Clan Of Xymox, The Impotent Sea Snakes, Hate Dept., SMP, Society One, Written In Ashes, and many others. In March of 2001 DeSade recorded “The Virtues Of Vice”. Most of the bands members were dealing with drug problems and the quality of the record is a direct reflection of their condition at the time. After cleaning up in mid 2002 DeSade started work on the album “Suicide Lounge”. Half way into the recording process it was decided that things where not turning out for the best. Members were changed, songs were re-worked, and in mid 2003 DeSade restarted work on “Suicide Lounge”. This time completing it, the album was released on Orphanage Records in November of 2003. “Suicide Lounge” produced the death rock classics “Suicide Lounge”, “Night Terrors” and “Desperate Need”, the latter of which found it’s way into regular rotation on 98KUPD’s “Red Radio Underground” show. In March of 2004 the band released a new EP, with a new singer, titled “Post Mortem”. This EP spawned the cult hit “Gallows”, which appeared in the adult film “Reno’s Girls 6” along with the song “Coitus”. In October of 2004 DeSade changed their name to THE CURSED to avoid further conflict with past members. This version of the band had the pleasure of opening for The Murder Junkies (the late G.G. Allin’s band), and the honor of playing on the first Mohawk Revolution Tour (featuring D.I. & The Skulls). In January of 2005 tension within the band brought them to an indefinite hiatus. After taking some much needed time off the band decided to reconvene and in December of 2005 they announced the return of DeSade.

[ SYNCHROMODE'S NEW ALBUM OUT NOW @
SMK RECORDS! ]
Synchromode releases his third album: 'Rüsselkäfer'. This time Synchromode signs with a new and promising harsh electronic label from USA, Soviet Media Kontrol. 'Rüsselkäfer' includes the harshest rhythmic noise of Synchromode's new works. As John LOHR -Soviet Media Kontrol's mastermind- said, "This album delivers strong rhythmic noise tunes with harsh breakcore influences. Possibly simmilar to 'Operation Tough Guy' era Hypnoskull or possibly even some Noisex material, this disc is sure to please many!".
