The Lava City Roller Dolls (LCRD), Bend's Premier and Original All-Female Roller Derby League was established in February of 2006. The League is comprised two teams: The All Star Smokin' Ashes and our newest team The Cinder Kittens. We pride ourselves on sportswomanship, teamwork, community involvement and promoting the SPORT of Roller Derby. We have met our goal of becoming members of the Women's Flat Track Derby Association (WFTDA) and are excited to represent Bend, OR by competing at the NATIONAL LEVEL. Come be a part of the REVOLUTION and support your local Roller Dolls!
LCRD's Home Season runs year round and includes action packed bouts, both home and away.
All bouts feature LCRD going head to head with leagues from all over the West. We are proud to bring hard hitting Roller Derby action to our hometown fans.

Want to be involved? Think Roller Derby is only for women? Although our skaters are all women we are always looking for men and women to help support the league! We are currently recruiting referees, statisticians, mascots, and volunteers to help in a variety of roles. Come to one of our practices for more details!
Practice is held every Sunday afternoon at the Central Oregon Indoor Sports Center from 3-5 p.m. and Tuesday Evenings from 7:30-9:30 pm. Come early so you can get skates and gear, and fill out paperwork to get things started. Everyone is welcome!!! No skating experience needed!! Necktie Killer is thrilled to be playing with Mad Caddies! Sunday, November 1st at 6pm. Mountains Edge Bar (formerly Timbers South) will be hosting us along with another bad ass ska group from Eugene, Wetsock. $15.00 admission at the door. We expect the venue to be at capacity, so get tickets in advance at any Timbers location or from anyone in Necktie Killer, if you know us. We also have crazy dope shows leading up to it: October 30th at the Old Stone Church for the Power 94 Monster's Ball and Halloween night at the Blackhorse with Danger Death Ray and Tuck and Roll.
