Desert Hearts released their highly acclaimed debut album 'Lets Get Worse' on Rough Trade in 2002. Two singles (and more glowing 4/5 reviews) followed - 'Ocean' on Belfast's No Dancing label and 'Gravitas/Hammer & Frogs' on Glasgow's Gargleblast Records.
In 2006 the band returned to Chem19 studios in Glasgow with producer Andy Miller (who produced the first record, and who is also known for his work with bands such as Mogwai, Arab Strap and the Delgados) to record their second
album 'Hotsy Totsy Nagasaki'. The album was released in October to rave reviews and is available now in all good record shops and on-line at www.resonancestore.com/gargleblast.
