About me:

Hi, my name is Al..... I'm currently writing my first novel. My writing (and creative) blog is at www.desertofzin.org. .. There's a prologue you can download. Feedback is always welcome... Other than that, I spend far too much time on Guild Wars, which is a primary reason that my first novel hasn't been finished yet...

Who I'd like to meet:

People who have an interest in Creative Writing or failing that music, films or anything that is in any way interesting... And by that I mean, if you're passionate about something and want to share it then go right ahead. All too often we have these odd wee ideas/interests/passions and we think that no-one understands us. But secretly they do, sometimes they're just too scared to admit it... Anyway, if you're into this MySpace thing for any reason OTHER than getting the most adds or wasting peoples time, then that's good enough for me... :).. ..

Hey Al, great to hear from you. Very excited that yr putting some of yr work up. Look forward to reading. Things are good here tks. Have been living with my partner since begining of feb, back on the job hunt though which is annoying. Waiting for the interviews to come flooding in ha ha ha! Still in meantime it gives me a bit of a writing window as i am now re-writing the whole 46,000 odd words in the first person! Take care hun.

Wow! That's really good going. Well done! I'm hoping the writing will be a sucess this year, I have begun re-writing it in the first person. I should have done it that way all along but I talked myself out of it. But the first chapter is re-done and I'm really pleased with it... only another 45,000 to change and then finish writing the rest of it lol.

Hope all goes well with yours too this year.

Thanks for the compliment! As for "furry suit furry vest underwear man", I think it's a purely Californian phenomenon, so just be careful if you come visit.

And yes, yes it is a small world...

    Hey Al,

    How are you?

Life is good, I'm on the two week countdown for moving house and finishing my job here. A new life awaits me lol I had hoped to crack on with the book last weekend, but sometimes the best laid plans etc.
This weekend holds the joy of packing, and next weekend is a visit to my parents, so not a whole lot of book writing over the next few weeks :-(

    How is yours going?

    Have a great evening,

    Angel x

Things are going well thanks. Work is extremely busy at the moment, so pretty tired of an evening. Looking on the bright side though, I only have eight more weeks until my contract is up and I can move on.

Book is on a bit of a go slow as a result.
Not helped by me foolishly trying to take on board my new course into the mix as well lol But still - lets me know i'm alive!!!

Glad you enjoyed your break. I look forward to seeing your ideas.

    Have a good evening.
I'm off to watch an episode of Xena lol
