I'm a third-generation bagpiper of Scottish descent. I began playing and writing music for the Great Highland Bagpipe when I was ten years old. In addition to the Great Highland Bagpipes, I also play the Scottish small Pipes, acoustic, electric & bass guitar, tin whistle, drums, keyboards & piano.
I'm a former member of the Celtic band Silent Planet as well as the Los Angeles Police Department Pipe Band, City of Glendale Pipe Band and Cabar Feidh Pipe Band. I also perform and record regularly with the Celtic band Tartanic. I was recently nominated for a Celtic radio Music Award with Silent Planet and completed a project for the independent film "Juan Frances: Live."
I'm currently working on various projects including a new solo album slated for release in late 2010 and various performances with the Techno-Fusion Bagpipe band Sonic Impulse.
