Anyways, got any plans for next weekend? ... cuz i doooooooo! oooh, I think the pizza's here, I'm so freakin hungry right now, but it's all good. and that survey thing i was doing - THAT YOU WAS MAKING FUN OF ME FOR DOING!! - i just got paid! $76 for my first check, and since i got paid, I'm gonna do more of em, but I'm already at $184, so I'm loving it. They're so seriously stupid tho - the one I got last night was about my hair and stuff - like what kind of shampoo do I use, do I normally use conditioner ... for real, so easy. you should do it, i'm tellin yah. i guess you'll have to type the link into internet explorer or whatever, but here it is:
When I was a little boy, a guy from on top of the hill would come down on his motorcycle and do awesome jumps and wheelies. This guy flew through the air like there was no tomorrow. His wheelies, lasted forever!
Come to find out, he was a pretty famous MX star and was some what of a dare devil, as they were called. We were just kids racing BMX in, Canyon Country and practice in the hills in, Saugus, where this guy was our neighbor. This guy would take the time to work with us, and helped to become better riders.
His name, Flying Mike Brown!
Little did I know, Mike was a friend and fellow rider of someone I admired at our local stock car track, Saugus Speedway, his friend's name, Ron Hornaday.
I was honored to reunite the two a few years back at California Speedway, when Hornaday made a home coming in the NASCAR series, sponsored by Busch Beer.
To see them together and the smiles a mile wide was priceless!
As undisputed champion during the 1970s, Flying Mike Brown has entertained and thrilled thousands of fans. Yet, On Sat., June 5, 1999, at a Twin Falls, Idaho, freestyle dirt-bike competition, a Flying Mike Brown jump was the featured "half-time exhibition," where he attempted to fly across a 151' gap and land onto a flatbed. Because of a series of miscalculations and a slick, wet surface, Mike failed the jump and nearly lost his life. He suffered from broken ribs and punctured lungs, a stretched brainstem, compound fracture of his right femur, and the amputation of his left femur.
