Hi I'm Desi Hickman from Carl Junction, MO. I am 18 and am currently attending Kansas State University. I've been singing since I was about 10, maybe a little younger. I love it, its' truly my passion. Music is what I live for each day. I sing country because deep down that's all I am is a smalltown country girl. Everything I sing about relates to my country roots. I've made many demos of different types of music trying to find my sound. My Dad and I write music together, we have about a total of 11 songs right now, and currently we are working with some musicians in Nashville to get my music recorded. This is my dream and passion, and I will do everything I can to make it happen. I also sing the National Anthem at many events. I've sang at the NAIA finals, a couple of Springfield Cardinals Baseball Games, the National YMCA Gymnastic Meet, semi-pro football games, and of course a country girl has to sing at rodeos.
