Desilva are a Leeds based band recording and performing original material as well as performing rock/indie covers.
The band was originally set up as a cover band in the year 2000 also at the same time the band set up U2 Tribute band Us4//U2 and have performed sell out shows all over the world as Us4//U2.
The Tribute and Cover band scenes are not enough to satisfy the creative urges of these 5 musicians so in late 2007 the band started work on writing and recording their own material.The boys have a wide range of musical influences between them so the original material has become one big melting pot of music with influences from all genres.
The Desilva live shows have become high energy entertainment with the band firing on all cylinders from the word go as well as showing their softer side on a few slow atmospheric songs.With the emphasis on LIVE music there are no backing tracks or sequencers just 5 musicians doing what they love playing music and entertaining.

Hiya What a summer its been!! We’ve been working hard in the studio and are currently recording our first commercial EP 'What Katie Did' which will be released around October time. You can hear a demo version on our MySpace.
We are not planning any live shows until we are ready to promote the EP but you never know we may pop up at a venue near you.

Would like to say what a group of fabulous people. They allow my son Danny who is 12 to play with them, giving him confidence. They are entertaining and amazing to watch. Danny and I thank them for their graciousness. Hopefully I will be able to post a video of them playing. xxxxx
