About me: ....
I live for my love...and I do mean LOVE...music. There is nothing that compares to the joy I feel when I'm taking in the sights and sounds of some imaginative and inspiring first-rate jamming. A great recording can take me higher as well, but nothing is more stellar than being there in a moment when magic happens. It is truly mesmerizing. As you might surmise from my profile, I am particularly fond of guitar players. To me, there is nothing more enchanting than watching a prolific player making love to his instrument. That is when you truly see his soul shine and I feel blessed to have been there to revel in it. Aside from music, there is not much else that can take me through such a wide array of emotions. From love and beauty to wanting to get down and dirty. Oh, except maybe a new pair of killer shoes!!! As a friend I am dedicated and loyal to the people I love and don't have time for the ones that I don't. There is nothing I won't do for someone I care about and there is nothing I delight in more than being able to spoil the people that are special to me. I love touching the mind, heart, soul and spirit of those who are kind, smart, loving, trustworthy, inspired, talented, creative and interesting. Otherwise, I am easily bored and would rather be by myself.

"Ticklin' The Strings" by Sweet Hollywaiians
Amazing Japanese hot string band playing 1920's, 30's, 40's style hawaiian, swing, calypso, blues, italian music and originals, featuring vintage instruments.3 songs with Robert Armstrong and Tony Marcus(from Robert Crumb and His Cheap Suit Serenaders)
"The Sweet Hollywaiians have probably the best feel for this 20's music of any string band working today. They manage the rare feat of sounding relaxed even when their playing is hot, are top notch musicians with tasteful arrangements and a full, rich, warm sound.Plus, they have a nice gamut of tunes, from King Nawahi to Giovanni Vicari to Bobby Leecan. See them live, if you can, for an unforgettable experience. If you can't, buy their Cds!" ~ Terry Zwigoff
