A firecracker of an actor who’s known to walk his way and no path else, Prroshant Narayannan (also know as Prashant Naryanan in the past) stunned movie fanatics with his initial films like Waisa Bhi Hota Hain and Chhal. He is acting in a few European productions and has a some interesting projects in Bombay on the cards.

In 1991, Onir made his first documentary film at a work shop organized by Max Muller Bhavan and Chitrabani in Kolkatta. The documentary film was called “ Glimpses of College Street”. An impressionist documentary about a street in Kolkatta. In the same year he was offered Scholarship to train at an advanced editing course with SFB/TTC Berlin. Returning from Berlin he directed and produced his first independent documentary “ Fallen hero” a documentary, which was a portrait of an ageing painter Bijon Chaudry and his dilemma with the changing political scenario in Bengal. (1992). Soon afterwards (1993) he shifted base to Mumbai to work as an editor with a production house(Plus Channel) After six months he quit working for the production house and started working as a freelance editor, music album producer, corporate filmmaker, etc… all the while trying to move towards films, which was his ultimate goal. In 1999 he got his first experience with on the job filmmaking. He was working as the film editor, song designer of the film “Daman” directed by Kalpana Lajmi. Finally in 2004 Sanjay Suri and Onir decided to produce Onir's first film “ My brother Nikhil”… which was to become the first main-stream film that addressed the issue of Homosexuality apart from dealing with issues of Human rights and HIV AIDS. Yash Raj released this film on 25th march 2005. In Jan 2006 he started to shoot his second feature film “ Bas Ek Pal” with the cast of Juhi Chawla, Urmila Matondkar, Jimmy Sheirgill, Rehaan Engineer and Sanjay Suri. The film was released on the 15th of Sept 2006.

Sivan Santosh joins Passion for Cinema! Sivan grew up in the city of Thiruvananthapuram in Kerala, India, where he attended Loyola School and Mar Ivanios College. His father, Sivan, is a renowned director and cinematographer of Malayalam documentary films, and runs the Trivandrum-based Sivan Studio. Sivan is the older brother of film director Sanjiv Sivan and younger brother of director Sangeeth Sivan. The brothers are sometimes referred to as the 'South Indian Scott Brothers' after their skills as film-makers. Sivan graduated from the Film and Television Institute of India in 1984. In December 1995 he became a founding member of the Indian Society of Cinematographers (ISC). A noted cinematographer, Sivan won eleven National Film Awards from his participation as a cinematographer in over forty films from the 1980s to mid-1990s. His success as a director began with his critically acclaimed The Terrorist in 1999 and he solidified his reputation with the release of Asoka in 2001. (from Wikipedia).

Pavan has written and directed a number of video films and has been directing & producing tele-serials and making ad-films. He has also intermittently ventured in directing movies for the big screen. His past projects include "Chor aur Chaand", and "Sssshhh" with Dino Morea and introducting.Tanishaa. Pavan is currently close to completing his latest movie "Bhram" starring Dino Morea, Milind Soman, Simone Singh, Chetan Hansraj, and introducting Sheetal Menon.

Suparn Verma was a senior producer (broadband, chat, community, events) with rediff.com He has written Chhal, Yeh Kya Ho Raha Hai, Qayamat, Zameen, Janasheen, Karam, Ek Khiladi Ek Haseena He has directed Ek Khiladi Ek Haseena He has formed a production company called The Dark Tower Entertainment to make ad films. The first ad film he made was for Rediff Bol.

Sam Longoria is an American independent filmmaker and former Hollywood visual effects engineer. Longoria began making movies in 1970 at the age of 14. He made a feature-length 35mm film in Enumclaw, Washington, moved to Hollywood in 1978, with occasional film and theatre work in Portland, Oregon, New York, and Chicago. Longoria's Hollywood work, (frequently uncredited) begins in the 1980s, as a member of the technical crew on films such as Ghost Busters, 2010: The Year We Make Contact, Return to Oz, and Captain EO. In 1985, he photographed President Ronald Reagan in the White House for a large-format film ..ary. In 1992, he created 35 mm projected backgrounds from small-format film and video elements, for Peter Sellars's production of Paul Hindemith's Opera Mathis der Maler, at London's Royal Opera House, Covent Garden. More recently, Longoria built camera electronics for 1994 film Terminal Velocity, optically enlarged Charlie Sheen and Martin Sheen's Super 8 mm home movies for 1999 film Five Aces, and performed hydraulic special effects on 1997 film Dante's Peak, which had the largest water dump (650,000 gallons, weighing 5.4 million pounds) in cinema history. Longoria is a member of the Visual Effects Society in Hollywood, and focuses now on making his own films. He has written two filmmaking books, "Making Movies With No Money," and "Secrets Of Raising Money For Your Movie."

Ramu Ramanathan is a prolific playwright-director, journalist and editor of PT NOTES, a monthly theatre newsletter produced by Prithvi Theatre in Mumbai. He also conducts workshops. He scripted 'Curfew', 'The Travel Show' (a piece in mime and pantomime), and 'Combat'. He scripted and directed the highly acclaimed 'Mahadevbhai' that provides a peek into the events that shaped the India, and has been invited to appear the Frankfurt book fair.
'Collaborators', a mesmerizing journey into the tormented mind of four characters, bagged the BBC Radio Playwriting Regional Award (2003) and was also an invitee to the Berlin Literary Festival 2004. His play 3 SAKINA MANZIL (a docu-drama about the 1944 Mumbai Dock Explosion) has been critically acclaimed all over India and was recently selected for the Brussels Theatre Fest and the Frankfurt book fair.
Ramanathan has written and directed two successful children's plays for, 'The Boy Who Stopped Smiling' and 'Medha & Zoombish'.
