About Des Moines

Des Moines is pronounced DEZ MOYNZ.

It is in no way french or related to the capitol of Iowa.

Des hasn't played as a full band yet. At a friend's 18th, a drumkit, guitar amp and PA were set up, so Jake, Ben and Peter played an impromptu set with some punk, ska, blues and funk. Jake managed to cut a chunk of skin off his finger and splatter blood all over kretz's guitar, Ben jumped around maniacally and garbled lyrics into the mic and Peter kept it all rocking on the drums for the first time in half a year. It was well fun.

We want to play at YOUR party. Just ask.

Under No Delusions	Jan 17 2008 8:11 AM dont forget that the songs were repetative, poorly constructed and generally terrible as well! but i agree, rock for relief was our peak. that was one kickass show. finding gigs for non metal/scene bands seems impossible these days... and sorry for keeping on replying in different profiles, i lose track of which one i'm in. angus.
