Des Moines University is the second oldest osteopathic school in the country, dating back to 1898. We achieved "university" status in 1981 with the additions of the College of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery and the College of Health Sciences.

With over 25 years of educational expertise in Podiatric Medicine, Physical Therapy, Physician Assistant Studies, Public Health and Health Care Administration, along with over 100 years in Osteopathic Medicine, DMU offers a variety of programs to prepare you for a future in medicine and health sciences.
