I think we sometimes feel like discovery is when you look hard enough, you find gold. But for Michelangelo, I think he viewed discovery as imagination!
What a cool discovery! ;) He also said; "I saw the angel in the marble and carved until I set him free."
If you have seen his art before, you may agree that it's quite extraordinary and that he is a good example of having a good attitude about it. :)
I hope you find your art inside your block of stone. I think most of us can feel surrounded by stones most of the time.

I think when we are constantly moving about, we are learning, changing and growing. But when we are inactive, we can feel like there is no hope. I personally am always glad when something gets accomplished in a day, even if it isn't the large change I am hoping for.
I fought with horrible flash reflections in street windows, then said to heck with it, and amped ISO WAYYY up to 3200, and rested camera on table. So far, this is the most forgiving high ISO camera I have used.
