On the "Down to Earth" tip:
I am funny, sweet, cunning, straightforward and kind of bent, beautiful and sad, sexy and vulnerable, but high above and far away while walking through the stink trenches. Friends call that "aloof."
"You really are the Sartre of our times."
--Carolyn Castiglia, superstar comedian, friend of Desiree, and judge of character.
I do believe I will change the world and plan to make my mark an improvement. To pay for this, I will spend eternity tripping over the minutae of myself. Silly rabbit--Ids are for Kids.
Although I wax philo-sophical with this junk, I am really someone who has made a mission at poking fun and letting the air out of as many lofty ideas as possible. That way they are on the ground. Where we can get at them.
Just so you know, I only attract freaks, so if you are looking at this, chances are, you are one. If you didn't know this before, sorry for the impromptu intervetion. Someone had to sit down with you and help you through this.

"Tea-baggers unite! This Wednesday through Sunday only come see the totally unique Jo Stromgren Kompani as they perform in 'The Society' For only $10 (when you enter code MS10) you can't miss this long awaited NYC premiere of non-sensical, absurd humor that is The Jo Stromgren Kompani. Co-presented with Performance Space 122 and The Abrons Arts Center, 'The Society' explores what happens when a society of coffee drinkers discovers a tea drinker in their midst. JSK doesn't enter into the debate (unlike our presidential hopefuls) about whether or not theatre can change our outlook on humanity. Rather they pursue their signature "fart-in-the-universe quest to pinpoint utterly sad human behavior."
