About me:
November 3rd, 2007:
Death of a dream…...
As many of you are aware, Destination Comics will be closing at the
end of this month. Suffice it to say, this was not planned.
This past Wednesday is the last week that new comics will be shipping here.
During the next few weeks, I will be liquidating all of the store's
stock at a major discount.
The store will be closed Monday and Tuesday November 5th and 6th but
will reopen November 7th. Regular store hours still apply.(11AM to
7PM)
From Wednesday, November 7 th until Saturday the 24th of November, all
back issues and trade paperbacks will be half off. All new books,
toys, etc, etc will be discounted.
And any subscribers that are not in on a regular basis, try to
make the effort to come by and get your subscriptions by month's end.
On a personal note, I want to thank each and every one of you who
shopped here and believed in the little store that could. You helped
make my dream come true and I couldn't have done it without you guys
(and ladies).
If you would like me to recommend some good stores and mail order
companies with which to go through from now on, I would be more than
happy to.
As always, I can be reached via telephone (until the 24th, that is),
email and MySpace.
Again, thank you all and I hope to see you in here at least one last time….

And if you just miss me that much, I'm working mainly Wednesdays at the Comic Game and Hobby Place, next to the new Staples, on Ridge/McIntire. While I won't be there very much, the staff there are pretty good guys and I do all of the comic ordering. So you'll get your stuff if you ask for it (ahem, unlike, most places).
PS, might be some big news on the horizon, so anyone that still reads this, check back soon.
