…and indeed, with their 2nd output ‘Invisible Walls’ (after their 2001 demo ‘Mastery of the Light’), ‘Destination’s Calling’ are
finally ready to climb that stairway to heaven.
Mixed and recorded in Munich by Jan Vacik at Dreamscape Studios, ‘Invisible Walls’ is more than likely to receive the most enthusiastic
reviews from the international music related press. “That’s amazing”, says Markus Goeller (git; bvoc), “when you listen
to a record, professional to the bone, that immediately reminds you
of Queensryche, Edguy or Gamma Ray – all of which we really admire –
and suddenly you realize it’s your own work. But the most stunning thing are definitely the fans.”
“That’s true”, adds Christian Graeter (voc, git), “we receive mails and feedback from all around the world – Europe, the States and even Japan or Australia. Those guys encourage us always to give a hundred per cent in everything we do, and not just put out a half-hearted record.”
‘Invisible Walls’, which became clear, was definitely worth a closer look. Soon some labels took interest in the band and the record, and finally, in February 2008, Destination’ s Calling decided to sign with Silverwolf Productions and settled a record deal including worldwide distribution.
Christian Graeter (voc.), Markus Goeller (git.), Christian Frank (drums) and Steffen Singler (bass), who have already shared the stage with Pain, Brainstorm, Ektomorf, Serenity, Majesty, Freedom Call and the likes, are looking very forward to that new chapter in their band’s history.
