Created in 2000 by London based producer Matt Schwartz, Destined Records is a boutique dance label, specialising in the very best of independent club music.
Matt is an accomplished professional. His raw talent and passion for perfection, enables him to work a diverse cross-section of genres and artists. He has worked with the likes of Massive Attack, Arthur Baker, and Mica Paris. Of course, Matt also makes up half of the chart-topping duo, Deepest Blue.
However, when it comes to his specialist subject, dance music, Matt Schwartz surpasses most. The launch of his innovative label, Destined Records and the success it has seen to date, was an inevitable outcome.
Destined has seen massive hits from The Drill, 4tune500, Dada and Mblack. In fact, the recent release of ‘lollipop’ by Dada Ft. Sandy Rivera and Trix, was yet another example of familiarity with chart entry. Naturally it helps when your label enjoys constant support from the likes of Pete Tong, Eddie Halliwell, Sister Bliss, Tiga, Paul van Dyk, and Tiësto, to name a few.
Destined Records is about creating new and exciting club anthems that reach out to millions, world-wide; it constantly looks to push boundaries and breathe life into dance music’s cutting edge. With many records added to numerous compilations, tracks topping club charts and support from top DJ’s in every territory….Destined Records is growing at a rapid rate.
Look out for the comeback single from Deepest Blue, more DADA , and the re-release of 4tune500 dancing in the dark with new mixes for summer 2008.
