About me:

Hi, I'm Susan Wood

I Went From Waitress To Entrepreneur...
I've learned a few secrets along the way, and I'd like to share them with you...
http://www.MLMBestSystem.com

If you got to this page, there must be a reason... maybe you can relate to my story. I felt stuck for a long time, and then I finally took charge of my life. I love having the opportunity now to be a catalyst for people to take charge of their lives, to take responsibility and to make changes.

That’s really why I started this MySpace page. I’d like to motivate and inspire others to reach for their dreams, to ask “what’s possible,” and to never quit. I’ve learned a lot in the last few years, and I’d like others to benefit. So let me tell you a bit more about me...

From Waitress to Entrepreneur
I went from being a waitress to being a life coach and a home business entrepreneur. I live in Morro Bay, California on the gorgeous Central Coast. I am “an unfinished woman” (there is always more to learn). The accomplishment I am most proud of is that I raised a wonderful son. (He’s all grown up now, he's smart and resourceful, knows what he wants, he works towards it, and he has a vision for himself.) I love to hike, dance, draw, paint, travel, learn, grow, and connect with people. I love the challenges of being an entrepreneur. Before I tell you about my life now, though, let me tell you a little about how it used to be...

An Escapee From Corporate America
Actually, before I was a waitress, I was an escapee from corporate America. I had been Manager of Training and User Support at a large Boston law firm (in the IT department) for several years and I was stressed out and under-appreciated. I managed the computer training programs for the firm, which also had offices in three other cities. The whole time I was there, we were doing one huge project after another... introducing new software, new hardware, new operating systems, and on and on... and every person in the firm needed training! There was project management, learning new stuff, creating schedules, hiring subcontractors, training the trainers and the help desk, creating manuals writing documentation, arranging floor support, and on and on and on...

Stress, Stress, and More Stress
I used to get up between 5:30 and 6:30, never ate breakfast, commuted about an hour to work, frequently getting there by 7:30 am. I often worked until 7:30 pm. Lunch at my desk. Meetings, meetings. Occasional travel to Washington, DC or to NYC, but with no time to do something fun. I had a work computer at home, and usually had something I had to do over the weekend for work. I got tired of it... and during all this time my personal life was difficult as well, as my second husband was addicted to alcohol. I was diagnosed with type II diabetes a month before I left my job, and we all know that disease is linked to stress--I certainly believe that.

That’s when I decided to make major changes in every area of my life. I hope my story inspires you to push out of your comfort zone and find an alternative to “business as usual.”

What I Did About It
Eight years ago I started making major changes in every area of my life. I started with my personal life... I finally left my marriage (my husband subsequently died from his disease). I started to work on being spiritually connected.

A couple of years later, I left my job and gave myself a year to travel and spent several months traveling in Europe. When I got back from Europe, I started a cross country trip to California, which was supposed to be a round trip. Arriving on the Central Coast, I asked myself if I could live in such a beautiful place, and I gave myself permission. I was burnt out from working long hours under a lot of stress and decided to minimally support myself to allow for what the universe might bring.

I took a part-time waitressing job (something I hadn't done in 25 years!) This barely supported me, but gave me time to do things that I enjoy. Even though I had left my old stressful work life behind, I was now living on minimal income... and I wanted to change that. I got trained and certified as a life coach and set out as a home business entrepreneur in the direct sales/network marketing industry.

My New Life
I now run my own business from home as my own boss and have the freedom to make my own choices. I spend my free time doing the things that I love. I am happily occupied in my coaching and home businesses, learning and growing and continually increasing abundance in all areas of my life. I have learned so much in the last few years, about marketing, about leadership, about financial responsibility, about personal growth. I am excited that now I am able to help others wanting to make changes in their lives as I continue to expand in my own.

What’s Any Of This Got To Do With You?
Maybe you’ve been investigating the whole world of online marketing, wondering just exactly how it’s done. Or maybe you’re one of those people who’s been in network marketing or MLM and has done what you were told to do, bought leads, called leads, chased after friends and family, maybe dabbled a little on the internet, but generally just struggled and things have not clicked in for you.

Well, one of the things I’ve learned over the last few years is how important it is to have an attitude of gratitude and abundance, and abundance comes from giving, not from getting. You heard it right—if you want abundance, give (it’s all part of the law of attraction, which I strongly believe in). I am part of a group that provides FREE Web 2.0 and other marketing training through the use of a
Self-Branded Marketing System.

Stop by my website.. and take advantage of FREE training and secret marketing tips...
http://www.MLMBestSystem.com

See how this amazing system could help you build whatever business you happen to be in and raise you to the top levels of your organization... all while teaching you about making money online. This system is based on the concept of the “self-funded proposal” so that you can start to earn while you learn! Learn how the “big guys” do it… how they create multiple streams of income, how they build their lists, how they “monetize” their lists, how they profit not just once from their prospects, but many times, even if their prospects do not join them in their primary business.

Are you ready to start making a change in your life? Stop by my website, or fill out the form below...

Who I'd like to meet:
I want to connect with people who are ready—ready to take charge, ready to do things differently, ready to learn new things… people who are excited about possibilities, who have a strong belief that they can do what it takes, and who work toward their goals. I want to connect and network with, inspire and be inspired by others who are new entrepreneurs or want to be, and who are anxious to move their lives forward and might be in a position similar to mine a few years back.
