Part parade, part progressive party, part roaming rock festival, March of Madness: Bands on the Run! is a citywide music scavenger hunt orchestrated by Michael Gaughan (Brother and Sister, NOW) and the Walker Art Center Teen Arts Council (WACTAC). Be prepared to traverse the city high and low, investigate nooks and crannies, and experience a wide range of bands in unexpected, surreal settings during this all-day event.
To start the adventure, purchase a ticket and meet at the Walker on March 24 at 11 am to receive your first clue about the four secret band locations. Call 612.375.7600 for tickets. Copresented by the Minneapolis Park & Recreation Board.
