Hey whats up were DetByRow, or DBR for short if thats easier. We are the bastard child of rock and roll in the sense that we dont follow mainstream anything and we do what we want to do and play what we want to play and we love being different. Were a local band from Rockland but we hope to really go far in the music buisness. We all love what we do and we wouldnt trade it in for anything. Were fairly new, we officially became the DBR that we are today in late august of 2005 when Brian Milligram joined the band, since then weve played at various places around rockland, especially the Backdoor in Nyack. Were looking to get out of Rockland and book shows in Orange County and New Jersey hopefully so we can expand our fanbase a little and get known to new places and what not. Our style of music is in our opinion is more or less not like anything else. Whenever people ask us what kind of music we play we can only respond with a long pause and then " rock???" because theres really no way to describe the style which we think is pritty cool. Well to tell u a little about ourselves individually, George goes to North Rockland High school and plays lead guitar in the band. If somethings not perfect, especially in recording, hes the 1st to say something, not a bad thing if it wasnt for that wed suck in my opinion. Dave is georges brother and goes to st. augustins in new city, he rocks the drums in DBR, he may be the youngest in the band but hes problably one of the best drummers ive heard. Brian Milligram is the lead singer and the rhythem guitarist. he goes to suffern high school and sleeps most of the day and when hes not sleeping hes either playing guitar or writing awsome lyrics he is also the world famous "Poor Emo Kid". Justin Olori works for his dad at Olori crane service and plays bass in DBR and also backs up brian on vocals. He is the reason why DBR always has strings cables and picks because he is the son of ronnie on the run who is called on a weekly basis to bring random musical accessories to band practice.
Thats pritty much DBR. so whether your looking at us because your a fan, or just curious or want to book us for a show were always willing to play anywhere at anytime and we never turn down a show unless some life altering thing happens so thats us.
