Interests

  • General

I joined MySpace to make friends, network with other writers, and tell people all about my novels. Most of my blogs will be information about the Detective Jake series and the individual novels. You'll also find some stuff about me, but I'm sure it won't be as interesting.

    About this space:

I shouldn't have to post this, but I will. Unless otherwise noted in the places where they appear, all of the pictures and text at this space are copyrighted by Sheila Myers. You may NOT use any of the material without my express, written permission.

I welcome any and all comments about things I write about in my blogs. Leave your opinions, questions, or just say hello. I'll answer all questions within the comments section, as a blog, and/or by sending you a message. Please don't think I'm ignoring you if I don't answer right away, I'll stay in touch with my friends.

I will not add anyone to my friends list who's space is filled with cursing, degrades or puts down other people, or ... well ... contains text, graphics, or other material I wouldn't let my kids view. Read my blog "Important network message" for more details. All comments left at my space containing such material will be deleted.

Blurbs

About me:

What? You've never heard of me? You will. I've recently completed the manuscript for my first novel, Detective Jake : The Search for Truth. I've submitted the manuscript to a literary agent and, hopefully, it will soon be published. You can read my blogs to discover more about me and my novel.

My official websites:

This MySpace is the only OFFICIAL MySpace for Sheila Myers and the Detective Jake novels.

Click on the banner above to visit my website. The website contains the information found at this space and additional information.

The COG Zone at http://cog1999.spaces.live.com . My Windows Live space where I blog about my life and Christian topics.

Special announcememts:

My condolences and prayers are with the families and friends of Officers Eric Kelly, Paul Sciullo III, and Stephen Mayle who lost their lives in the line of duty on April 4 in Stanton Heights (a suburb of Pittsburgh), PA.

Who I'd like to meet:

My Lord and Savior, Jesus the Messiah. He died in my place to save me from the sins I could never clean away myself. Some people will think I'm crazy when I say this ... without Jesus in my life, I'd be a complete failure and my life would be meaningless.

Just thought should let you know that the present theme of your myspace is making your profile easy-to-read, visitor friendly. Very smooth reading it is giving. Also the font size and color combination is quite good on the eyes.

hahaha, it did since we were doing webcam so when she first saw me, that's what she saw. LOL. And you know what made it ever more funny...one of my roommates was taking a nap and when she woke up, it was the same time I turned around so she started laughing at me. Oh well... :)

Thank you for dropping by and commenting on the blog, Sheila. Promise not to be a stranger and definitely need to check out the Detective Jake chronicles (you may not be able to tell but uhh ... I'm kind of a fan of Crime, Sleuth and/or Dime Pulp inspired fiction. So since this falls into one of those categories ... you definitely have a fan :-0 ). Hope that your week is off to a great start, Sheila.
