About me: I'm a dreamer with a porcelain heart. I am sometimes told I look sad, intense, or just miserable. I am Miss misunderstood yet I wear my heart on my sleeve and sometimes share too much information. I am a writer and have been writing for over 16 years. I am a poet which makes me pretty good with words. Not many people know that side of me, but it is a huge part of my daily life and helps me to function. One day when I completley focus on myself and not worry about others you may find a book or 3 published with my name on it or one of my aliases. I do not find many people who can truly see me for me and be able to handle what I have to offer. I am a lover, not a fighter, unless of course i am faced with no other option but to defend myself. I'm a hopeless romantic. I refuse to settle for any thing less than an almost perfect love. The make up break up kind of b.s. relationship is not for me, i can now say i have tried it once and i hated it more than anything i have ever tried. I learned some things just don't work out, it's not necessarily anyones fault. It just is what it is. Sometimes people just don't bring out the best in each other.
I believe in surrounding yourself with uplifting positive energy as much as possible. I have a dark side and have since as far back as i can remember,this does not make me emo, depressed or Gothic, i am what i am and i have no labels. I am real. I have no problem telling you like it is and i will not go out of my way to impress you nor will I ever pretend to be anything in which I am clearly not. Not much excites me but i am easily content. I'm pretty much fearless, with the exception of failure and being put under. I have survived through a lot of crazy stuff that noone understands but myself and nobody i know has seen or felt the nonsense I was caught up in. But, it only made me stronger and made me realize I can live without a lot of things, which have been taken away from me a handful of times including my freedom. What i CAN not live without is family friends and music, A pen and A paper.
I have a lot to figure out these next few months, including where I am going to school for journalism, place of residency and a few other things. All i want is to write and live a semi simply life.
** Minus the Drama and all that is low class white trash, those undeserving of my energy and beautiful soul. I'm going places. And by places I don't mean strip clubs. If your sly enough for me to allow you in, I'd like to believe I wasn't blind and there is a good person inside. If your dumb enough to push me away, then off I go and there I'll stay. My heart is locked. Until I open it back up. I will erase all that I know and start anew, alone. If anything is meant to be, me with you , you with me, time will heal these awful things the puzzle will be Complete.

I pray to God one day, when I am in the right place I meet the man of my dreams and I will be his everything as he will be mine. If not, I will be a content, career oriented, world traveling God Mother to my many baby girls and spend lots of time caring for and spoiling them as well as myself.
Who I'd like to meet: A wise woman who knows me very well once said:"You are like a caged bird that needs to be set free. Don't wait anymore. If you wait on people to let you out of your cage, you will be waiting forever. Just go! Realize your dreams. You will never be happy until you do.You either sit back and dream of flying, or you jump. So, jump. You may fall but at least when you're old and gray you can look back and say that you touched, tasted, and felt all of your dreams up front and center. Don't wait anymore. Go Doreen!!! You will be unhappy the rest of your life if you don't go to NY and at least have a taste of what your dream could be. I don't want to hear it anymore. I'm setting a deadline for you. You have to be in NY by December 31 of this year. If you don't do it by then, you won't ever, so there. Start applying to schools that will encourage your gift of writing. Find a place to live. Find a job. Just go! I'll be up there to see ya', I promise. Who knows, I may even find a job up there but don't wait on me. Make everyone proud. We all know you've got it in you so show us. MY only SiSter, Jess, Maris and all my friends - my sis's, who have been there through all the madness and see me for me and know me inside and out, understand me and love me unconditionally, without you, I'm convinced I would have, at some point possibly given up.
