Detonate was a DFW based ska-core band from July 2006-October 2008, started by various members of defunct Dallas ska bands. Two full-length albums were recorded, and the band went on numerous tours around the midwest/east coast during their existence.
Detonate broke up almost immediately after returning from the summer 2008 tour, due to personal issues between vocalist "Duck" and the rest of the band. Since, Duck moved to New Orleans, and the other 4 members started the band "INFORMANT", which has released a self-titled EP and are currently finishing writing/starting to record their first full-length.
