This is not an official Detritus band page. I've recieved verbal permission from Detritus frontman Mark Broomhead to run the myspace page. I put this together because there is no official page, and it's a crime how few people havn't been made aware of this great metal band. _________________________Detritus released two albums; "Perpetual Defiance" in 1990 and "If But For One" in 1993. ...But due to poor promotion and distribution, never gained recognition due to a band putting out this level of metal mastery. (and let's face it, the early 90's were not exactly the prime time for a metal band to be making a name for itself. ) In my opinion, "If But For One" is nothing short of proof that it really does take more than a great album to become sucessful as a band. __________________________Hope you enjoy these songs. feel free to hit me back with any comments or suggestions. I hope this page will make many more aware Detritus's greatness, and especially, maybe carry out a bit more of the band's mission to bring the message of Christ to a fallen and hurting world. Hey Detritus , what's up! Thanks for your friendship and support. It really means a lot to us! Our new cd "Let There Be Blood" and "The Atrocity Exhibition: Exhibit A" are out and should be in stores, at least that's what our record company told us. ha,ha. If you can't find it at your local stores, please ask them to order it. You can listen to some of the songs from the new album on our MySpace page. We hope you check it out!
