Sounds Like
a seismic indian alarm call, resonating from thenorthcountry, off each coast, and back again to the geographic center of the nation where we watch, listen, and hope to tune it in.
Dragging our heels deep in the industrial hum. We've been doing our thang for near a decade. Paulie, Jacksan, and Joshuwas were but pups when we started. Time scattered Joshuwa to funky 'bama and others while Jacksan 'n' P found their home in Ypsilanti Michigan (in the shadow of the nation's most phallic structure), and Iggy's hometown, too. Hallowed ground indeed.
While P held down the fort in Ypsi, Jack moved to the TenICee. Eventually the desire for change and warmer climes found Paulie headed down 75,71,65,24 with his belongings loaded in a borrowed van. Eventually...the band debuted in early 2004 at a'one of them Acklen House shindigs (we wr the holy mountain @ the time, nashville chapter). Recorded SMALL RED EYE demo in our home last spring and whet our performance whistle at the Pub (in Murfreesboro, where we had been living) in August.
Diamond David Wells joined the group this past fall, changed our name to DETROIT this winter and debuted as a five piece in mid-February. Now, the time is now...
