MyCityBuzz welcomes submissions on a wide spectrum of topics. Most of our current focus is on the local scene and most of our topics are usually on music, movies and sports. However, we're always looking for more. Whether it's reviews on local bars, clubs, or restaurants, reviews on films, albums, concerts, etc., or magazine style articles and columns, we'd like to see it. Basically, send us anything that you think is buzzworthy. Few subjects are off limits, provided they are either well written and thought provoking or funny and entertaining.
If you’re wondering what type of article to submit, it may be helpful to think of MyCityBuzz as a home for all the random magazine ideas you might have thought of but never actually made the time to write. This is the perfect excuse to make time for those articles.
As far as length, MyCityBuzz doesn’t have a required word count, but tries to keep the length of reviews to what you would find in a magazine or newspaper. There is also no requirement on length for our columns, only that the writing is quality. It all depends on the topic and what you have to say.
Also, MyCityBuzz.com does not claim ownership of your words. You retain complete ownership of your articles and are free to use them in any way you choose. You are only granting us the right to publish your article on our website for others to enjoy. We might edit your articles for grammatical errors, typos or inappropriate content.
Most of our submissions come from people with good ideas, people with a passion for writing and a desire to have others read their work. We don't care if you’ve written for a major publication or if you’ve never written any thing other than a book report, we just want good content on a variety of subjects. Most of our writers got involved by simply dropping us an email. So go ahead, send your piece to jhatline@mycitybuzz.com

Radio Hello MyCityBuzz. com Sorry to comment, my messaging is down :( I'm Boca Smole, nice to meet you. MHR thanks YOU for accepting, I'm THRILLED you dig our music, I'm always around the Metro area handing out free CD's! Sorry about the self promotion ;) How are you? In about a month, we will have some cool stuff going on around town, please help me get the MHR awareness up before then. Bulletins (which work well), along with word of mouth, got us nominated for a Detroit Music Award this year. We are REALLY going to turn up the heat this month with our promotion and ANY help is GREATLY appreciated. Most of the local radio stations (99.5, 89X, 93.9, 96.3, 97.9, 98.7 and 102.7) have CD's, please call or email them DEMANDING they play MHR, again, the support is golden and the gesture will be reciprocated. THANKS for the love, Boca
PS, PLEASE don't forget to 5 star the video, it's a TREMENDOUS help ;)

I can't wait to get the CD done and do some shows where I can hopefully meet some of you.
I wish I had a time machine and could blast forward and start doing shows tomorrow.
