by Hilda Doolittle Bear me to Dictaeus, and to the steep slopes; to the river Erymanthus. In order to find "truth", one must first nurture the ability to discern between reality being perceived through the filters of emotions, which are subjective, in contrast to the more accurate reality being perceived through clear objective observation.
The left hand lies. The right hand tells the truth.
Hope your week starts off an a positive note David.
As she laughed I was aware of becoming involved in her laughter and being part of it, until her teeth were only accidental stars with a talent for squad-drill. I was drawn in by short gasps, inhaled at each momentary recovery, lost finally in the dark caverns of her throat, bruised by the ripple of unseen muscles. An elderly waiter with trembling hands was hurriedly spreading a pink and white checked cloth over the rusty green iron table, saying: "If the lady and gentleman wish to take their tea in the garden, if the lady and gentleman wish to take their tea in the garden ..." I decided that if the shaking of her breasts could be stopped, some of the fragments of the afternoon might be collected, and I concentrated my attention with careful subtlety to this end.
G. K. Chesterton once observed, "If man will not believe in God, the danger is not that he will believe in nothing, but that he will believe in anything."
I fear and objectively have observed that today, in modern times, that most people do believe anything as there is no other explanation for the current state of the nation and the world.
There is more at work than meets even the discerning eye.

Moving further along in finding what one is desperately seeking, requires not in accumulating anything additional, but in relinquishing what is already burdensome.
One must first start with what's in their head. ;-)
Sending some encouragement your way Slug. I know you can use it. Everyone can these days.

in time of daffodils
by E. E. Cummings
in time of daffodils(who know
the goal of living is to grow)
forgetting why, remember how
in time of lilacs who proclaim
the aim of waking is to dream,
remember so(forgetting seem)
in time of roses(who amaze
our now and here with paradise)
forgetting if, remember yes
in time of all sweet things beyond
whatever mind may comprehend,
remember seek(forgetting find)
and in a mystery to be
(when time from time shall set us free)
forgetting me, remember me
