Frogwomen non faceva un album da un sacco di tempo,
e serviva l’irriverente de large a stimolarlo a creare un album mono traccia della durata simbolica di 66,6
minuti.
L’amore verso Satana, tema così abusato nel mondo del pop, non è altro che la scintilla che dà il via ad una
lotta fra i due artisti : un patchwork di micro-canzoni dove l’uno cerca di annientare lo stile dell’altro spaziando tra
stucchevoli canzoncine d’amore, lamenti doom-noise e irriverenti pizziche selvagge (mmh .. forse sto esagerando).

Formed in February 2008, SOUTHBORN is the brainchild of five freaky lads willing to pay their tribute to the greatest moment hard rock music has ever lived, therefore SOUTHBORN is bloody influenced by '70s but with a modern and heavy approach coming from each member's experience in their own heavy-extreme metal projects. Lyrics take basically inspiration from their roots: the southern region of Bootland including its evil and good vibes and the southern part of the earth including discomfort and hell. Last january 2009 Southborn recorded 8 songs with a "crazed" Fostex multi-track recorder, a couple of microphones, 1 crate of beers, unnumbered joints and uploaded 5 songs on the page, more are coming! SOUTHBORN already performed live supporting ENTOMBED, NATRON, REBEL DEVIL, CHAIN REACTION and is currently looking for a label to release their debut soon!
