D.E.V.I.A.T.E. is an acronym for DEFY, EQUALIZE, VERBALIZE, INFORM, ACT, THINK, EDUCATE.
We formed in 1997 in Bergen County, New Jersey, released the Victims L.P. on Roacho 13 Records in 1999 and broke up in 2001 after four years of pure chaos that most adolescents would never have the chance to partake in. We recently felt the itch to play again and reunited in August of 2007, independently released a brand new E.P. called NERVOS BELLI PECVNIAM and have been playing gigs ever since. New material will be put forth into a discography that will include both our L.P. and E.P. We plan to keep playing as long as it remains fun. We're having a grand old time playing for our old friends and making new ones.
