DEVICE – Are fast becoming one of the true 'must see' bands on the hotly-contested London scene. After releasing an album, Espionage, on a tiny New York label in 2006, the band won a huge amount of radio play both in the USA and in Europe including the support of big guns such as John Kennedy at XFM, London and Richard Bacon at Capital.
The band's new album, All The Villains, is scheduled for release later this year through London boutique label Vashon Ferry. You can listen to track samplers from it here, including the single “Essex County Line”.
Device will be hitting the road on the East coast of the USA in May, hard on the heels of their Czech Republic promotional tour pictured below. All the Villains is currently playlisting in over 30 states in the USA.
* Device provided the music for Channel 5 film show Out There in the UK.
* Device were invited by Sony Erickson Europe to perform at the MTV Europe Awards in 2007.
* Device supported the Polyphonic Spree at the CMJ Music Marathon in New York.
* Device last US tour was the subject of a documentary, Dreams and Demons, which aired at the San Francisco Film Festival.
* Device played countless shows last year including dates at The Marquee in London and the Cavern in Liverpool.
* Device are official endorsees of Gibson Guitars in the UK.

Personally I just dont see why people go on about him. I've just done a module at Uni about Victorian writers. there are plenty better ones out there. Anyway, enough about Dickens. loving your sound by the way. so when a musical genius isnt making music, what does one do with ones self?
Hey, how are you? Would truly appreciate it if you could spread the word to your friends that our new download single "Fake" is out now on iTunes for 79p. Link and details on our profile. Lots of love to you, keep in touch - Micci xxxx
Wow! Great news! Can't wait for the album, and if it's the only UK gig of the year, I'll really try to be there for this one! Good luck with the tour :-) x x
A few people mention Hawkwind as an influence for that track,I still have a remix version of Royce which Marcelo Wig did when we lived in London. Nice tunes by the way!
