This was a New College garage band.
The initial lineup was Jeremy Spangler on the skins, Chad Sitzwohl on ax, Ian Haywood on bass, and myself doing ax & vox. That was the setup when we played New College's 1st ever Festival of the Arts. And the NCF Historic Archive Opening.
The snippet of Why Do You Love Me on here is from one of my solo tracks.
The arrangement of "Levee" is Chad & me playing with this local bluesman Dan O'Neil. He's that wailing harmonica. If anybody knows him please direct him to this website. We lost touch after that gig--a Hurricane Katrina Benefit--and he's never heard the recording!!!
We only crammed in 1 real show with Mike & Sarah before I ran off to Europe, but that was a great lineup. Hope you got to hear it.
The band is now defunct. I did just get a shiny new recorder that Sara & I attempt to use whenever I'm in Sarasota. But no promises. BTW her new band, The Done For, is pretty awesome.
