When it all came together at the end of 2003 Deville was born after some years of searching. Through a haze of rock, metal and stoner the members have found a way to do something that feels...
The line-up was complete when mr. Åkesson came back from Australia and Mr. Hambitzer gave up soulless pop and joined the inseparable duo, mr.Andy and senor Marcus.
Since the 2004 line-up there have been over 150 gigs in Sweden,Denmark,Germany,the Netherlands,Belgium,Austria,France,Italy and Portugal. Deville has also appeared in radio and national press in these countries.
Daredevilrecords released at the end of 2005 a double feature cd lp with Deville and gothenburgers Sergej the Freak called "Sergej the Freak meets Deville". Deville signed to Buzzville Records in 2007 and the album "Come Heavy Sleep" was released in Benelux, december 2007 and in the rest of Europe and the US in the beginning of 2008.
"Hail the Black Sky" is the latest album released in june 2009 again through Buzzville in Europe and in the US.

Doom will never die, DOOMRAISER too! As one door closes, another opens. Valerio has decided to leave the band; he wants to concentrate more on his other projects. We all wish Valerio the best of luck with his new vocation. He was, and remains, a formidable guitarist and was an integral part of DOOMRAISER. However, it is with great pleasure that DOOMRAISER announce that Valerio’s replacement is to be none other than our good friend and brother, the fearsomely talented musician Willer. He played bass with evil blacksters Grimness and he’s involved in Black Land, an awesome and obscure heavy psychedelic band from Rome. Practices have been going very well, and Willer is already adding a new, acid and exciting dimension to the band as a whole. His first gig will be at Sinister Noise Club in Rome on the 21th November: a special and drunken night celebrating the birthday of one of the most important Italian underground rock scene club! Stay tuned… and slower, harder, drunker!
