Rouen, mai 2008 : Ayant entendu l'appel des forces obscures, JB (guitare), recrute des sbires pour former un groupe de doom old school, lourd, sombre et puissant. Ce culte du riff down tempo comprend rapidement trois membres : JB (guitare), Selman (guitare) et Philippe (drums), qui mettent en place les premiers morceaux, aidés par Sir « All right! » Asgeirr (Fatum Elisum). Durant les cérémonies du solstice d'hiver, Asgeirr (chant) et Christophe (basse) rejoignent le groupe. Le quintet est influencé par les maîtres du genre, tels que Cathedral, Saint Vitus, Reverend Bizarre, Electric Wizard, Candlemass, Celtic Frost, Black Sabbath...et se tient prêt à prêcher pour la gloire du Doom.

In Rouen, in may 2008, guided by dark forces, JB (guitar) created an old school doom metal band, heavy, powerful and occult. This down tempo cult quickly consisted in 3 members, JB (guitar), Selman (guitar) and Philippe (drums), writing and rehearsing theirs firsts songs, with a little help from Sir « All right! » Asgeirr (also member of Fatum Elisum). During the winter's solstice ceremonial, Asgeirr (vox) & Christophe (bass) joined the band. Devil's Bride is inspirated by the doom masters, as Cathedral, Saint Vitus, Reverend Bizarre, Electric Wizard, Candlemass, Celtic Frost, and Black Sabbath, and is ready to held his sermons for the glory of Doom Metal.
