draws its influences from rock bands of the 70's and 80's and also from
modern Scandanavian and American bands.
Suicide Lifestyle "Devils Dandruff"
The group was born in the autumn of 2002, when manolo and profe called Juan to form a punk-rock band. This band as yet unnamed started to work on covers of the Ramones,Social Distortion, Sex-Pistols etc. and at this time their own songs started to take shape. The band started to be just that. The first big hurdle to overcome was to find a vocalist. After countless auditions of local singers a local friend Victor was chosen as the singer, as well as adding lead guitar to the songs. With Victor the group had its first live gigs, however this was not to be the definitive line up ... The founders were not completely content with the lineup and so got in touch with a friend who liked Rock and Roll and who could sing. Sergio then joined and Victor left, due to "musical differences". Alex also joined as second guitarrist but was later replaced by Marcos, Sergios brother, who had played in many rock bands already. The past experience of this formation, coming from different Malaga bands gave them a clear objective of what they wanted to do : play quality Rock and Roll "with balls". Thus the Devil's Dandruff sound draws its influences from rock bands of the 70's and 80's and also from modern Scandanavian and American bands.
Los comienzos del grupo datan del otoño del 2002, cuando Manolo y Profe se ponen en contacto con Juan para crear la base de un grupo de Punk-Rock. Este grupo, aún sin nombre, comienza a trabajar en versiones de Ramones, Social Distortion, Sex-Pistols... a la vez que empiezan a dar forma a sus propios temas. El grupo comienza a funcionar… La primera gran traba fue la búsqueda de un vocalista. Se hacen numerosas pruebas a diversos cantantes de la zona y, finalmente, un amigo guitarrista (Víctor) hace de cantante mientras añade la guitarra solista a los temas. Con Víctor, el grupo realiza sus primeras actuaciones en vivo, pero esto no era definitivo. No del todo satisfechos con la actual formación se ponen en contacto con un chico al que le gustaba el R´n´R y que además cantaba. Así llega Sergio al grupo y Víctor por incompatibilidades musicales abandona la banda. Alex se incorpora: una guitarra más adecuada al sonido que busca el conjunto; pero tampoco sería el definitivo. Por fin se une a la banda Marcos, hermano de Sergio, el cantante, y con una larga trayectoria tocando la guitarra en bandas de rock. La dilatada experiencia de sus miembros en diferentes grupos de Málaga, hace que se tenga muy claro el objetivo: hacer un Rock ´n Roll potente y de calidad. Así, el sonido de Devil´s Dandruff encuentra sus influencias en el rock que se hacía en los 70’s, 80’s, y en el rock actual de grupos escandinavos y americanos.
