Sounds Like
A combination of original, traditional and folk tunes set to funky Bluegrass, rock, blues, roots and a touch of jazz.
Billy Berger, our mandolinist/vocalist/songwriter is from the mountains of Bedford Co. VA. As a multi-instrumentalist, he also adds to the sounds with his background in percussion and various mandolin family instruments. The last band Billy was in was Boogiedok, a swing/folk band along with Cindy Sealie and Matt Smith.
Terina Plyler, from the mountains of WNC, puts the dream in Devils Dream with her crystalline vocals. Also a multi-instrumentalist, she holds down the groove on percussion and as a songwriter plays the guitar. Most of her musical experience comes from singing with her mother Wanda Lu Paxton, fka Wanda Lu Greene.
Ian Harrod, our last but not least multi-talented songwriter from Raleigh NC, holds down the bottom on bass and the top with his brilliant voice. He might be on guitar and he might be on mandolin, but he will definitely dazzle you with his mouth trumpet. Ian has been in a band with Dan Carrigan called the Passionate Detachments; also Ian and Terina had a folk duet for 3 years before the creation of 'Devils Dream'.

It's been a long, long road but the time is almost upon us. After 40,000 miles, 4 national tours, and a head full of American landscape, we've finally finished our debut album, Only Sleeping. We will be having our CD Release show this coming Wednesday, December 10th at The Grey Eagle Music Hall in Asheville, NC. We will be accompanied by special guest, Oso Rey, the show starts at 8 pm, tickets are only $8 and CDs are only $10 inside the door!!! Come join us for this pre-holiday festive extravaganza and be the first to see The StereoFidelics like you've never seen them before (kinda).
