Neye Benziyor?
Texas boogie-woogie, with a little bit of Southern roots, Delta blues, and a whole lotta rock. Or, you can just check some videos or the songs and decide for yourself!
2008 was a huge year for New Braunfels-based rock band Devil's Hollow; evolving from their roots as a blues-rock trio into a four-piece fusion of rock, blues, funk and Southern soul, Devil's Hollow established themselves as one of the most dynamic, hard-working bands in the area. Devil's Hollow played over 100 shows in 2008, capping the year with an opening slot for Austin's Del Castillo. Other highlights included headlining a successful 4th of July Festival in San Antonio at Sam's Burger Joint, opening for Rich O'Toole, Jackson Taylor, and a two-week long West Coast tour including dates in Reno and Napa Valley. 2009 thus far has proved to be no different, as Devil's Hollow has already made their Gruene Hall debut and opened for The Mother Truckers (SXSW's 2007 Roots Rock Band of the Year).
Joining original guitarist Justin Murray on the front-line is Nick Doe, in from San Marcos' very own funk band Spank. Bringing a soaring, psychedelic influence on guitar, Doe's fretwork compliments the powerhouse blues crunch of Murray, blending both styles seamlessly. Also in from Spank, keyboardist Matt Cain, has assumed the "5th Beatle" role in the band, laying down keyboard tracks for the debut album and occasionally touring with Devil's Hollow.
