"Everyday it seems like a bus pulls into Nashville that is full of hopefuls that are chasing their dreams to country music stardom. Seldom do all of these hopefuls last past the first year before they cal it quits. For Devin Belle the path she took to get to Nashville from Alaska helped shape her and readied her to face the ups and downs of the industry. and now here she is with her brand new demo album with 10 songs, 6 of which she played a part in writing. Leaping right through your speakers from the get go is Belle’s outstanding voice and it captures you from the opening track, the upbeat “Mama Never Told Me,” as she runs down a laundry list of everything her mama taught her but how she never warned her of the guy that would steal her heart. This upbeat side of Devin Belle continues to show on this album with songs like “Wild & Free,” “As Good As I Can,” and “I’m Missing Home,” where she sings of the life she has come to love in Nashville but at the same time finds herself missing home. However, as upbeat and fun as this album is, the ballads are the other selling point to Devin Belle. She delivers all of them with heartfelt conviction in her voice that makes you feel her pain on songs like “Rip The Pages Out.” So the cliché goes, everyone in this town is a singer or a writer, but let’s try this one on for size instead, if everyone could sing and write as good as Devin Belle has on this album then this town would have a real tough time deciding on who the stars of country music should be. Devin Belle is an artist to watch and one that record labels are hopefully taking notice of cause she needs a deal if this album is any indication." -Today's Country Magazine
"...Her adventurous spirit and angelic voice make for a compelling raconteur and singer-songwriter. While influences of country songbirds Martina McBride and Trisha Yearwood shine through her music, listeners can sense a bit of good, old fashioned R&B soul when she hits the high notes..." - Ourstage.com

I am Texas born and Alaska raised and couldn't be more proud of my two favorite states in this amazing country. My husband and I left Alaska in June 2007 and made the move down to Nashville to pursue what I believe God has intended me to do, and that's to write and sing for all who will hear me! And we are definitely enjoying the warmer weather of Tennessee!
I have sung for audiences small and large ever since I was a little curly blond diva who refused to wear anything but pretty dresses. For a good while I was a "closet singer". Literally. To get ready for my first talent show my mom made me practice for her. I was so shy and nervous about singing, so I sang in the closet while she listened from the outside until I was able to take "baby steps" out into the room. I still made her face the wall though! I have loved performing ever since the moment I walked out onto that stage, so I guess you could say I finally came out of the closet! ;)
I love, Love, LOVE music of all kinds and am so happy to meet people who share my passion as well. And I'm always working on new songs so keep checking back to see and hear the latest news and tunes!
