As a metal band from Massachusetts, Devlyn Sydus was first started in 1997 as Den of Iniquity, a black metal band. Over the years, the group has grown and developed a very diverse sound based on each members individual style and musical taste. As with many growing bands, members sometimes change as frequently as the name.
Described as: 'like Soulfly if Trent Reznor were part of the band,' their debut album "There's No Profit in Truth", mixes the pent up frustration of acts such as Rage Against The Machine with the raging, highly charged riffs of classic Machine Head.
