Influences
People usually list their favorite bands here, but I have to say, my main influences were a few choice people around me more than anything. Starting almost at the beginning, and be sure it's not a complete list. Will Blankenship; my high school teacher. Bill Beckett (R.I.P.) the vice principal of Modoc High School who introduced me to and Pat Cantrall; a school board member that gave me a beautiful upright grand piano. My old friend Darrin Holloway; who prodded me into trying out for the band. Robin Brush; leader of my 1st band 'Tommy Atkins', who taught me determination and musicianship. Melva, Tautyana, and Debbie; for the songs they inspired. "Buckethead" Troy McDowell, Leader of my 2nd band 'Spoiled Brat'. I guess he deserves mentioning for all the experiences we shared in that band; both good and bad. Michael Brumit, Bass player of 'Spoiled Brat', my one true friend, to this day. Jimi Chappell; whose musical style and voice were so refreshing, it created inspiration. My Grandfather Bert, for wanting to believe in me even when I fail miserably. Time and time again. Victor James and Alicia Peron; from 'Fans of Jimmy Century'; Vic pulled me out of my dry slump by introducing me to Mr Reason the 3rd, pulling me towards the genre I truly enjoy the most. And Alicia for giving me something to shoot for; I'm sure I will eventually write something she'll want to sing :? and also for telling me about their secret. And most recently, Rob Cowan of Dreamstream and our collaborations. I am sure this isn't all of them, and I will add them as I think of 'em. “A friend is someone who knows the song in your heart and can sing it back to you when you have forgotten the words.”

thx a lot for the request ... you deliver very interesting sounds and tracks here! about a collab, well, I'm pretty busy with that at the moment which is good for me, but not so good for my time management, lol .... but I can imagine to add something on songs like "The Silent Getaway" or "Tiny Little Boxes" ... great style ... we'll stay in contact!!
